Baraka Insurance Joins FCDO Roundtable to Strengthen Somalia’s Health System

Baraka Insurance was pleased to attend the FCDO Roundtable with Somalia’s private sector and academia leaders, held at the British Embassy in Mogadishu.

The meeting focused on building strong partnerships to improve health outcomes in Somalia through:

  2. Exploring private sector innovations and sustainable business models
  3. Highlighting academia’s vital role in training, research, and evidence-based policy
  4. Uniting private hospitals to strengthen collaboration and service quality
  5. Identifying key priority areas for joint action in workforce, innovation, and financing

Key takeaway: Collaboration between government, academia, the private sector, and development partners is essential to build a resilient health system that ensures quality care for all Somalis.
